If qualified, it may take up to 30 days to receive CalFresh benefits. In the mean time, there are food resources available to you on and off campus.
Campus Pantries
All University of California (UC), California State University (CSU), and California Community College campuses offer pantries and basic needs services.
Farmers’ Markets
Students can use their CalFresh Food dollars and EBT card at most local Farmers’ Markets. Some markets even have Market Match to get you extra dollars to buy produce when you use your EBT card!
California Association of Food Banks
The California Association of Food Banks (CAFB) secures excess produce from California’s fields and delivers it to food banks throughout the state.
